She arrived early with various outfit options and a fresh bunch of flowers for, ‘a little something special.’ It was exactly what you’d expect from a fashion editor. Yet, for all of her apparently stylish accolades, there’s something special about Greta Eagan. She loves fashion and beauty as much as she loves being ethical and eco-aware. In fact, she’s one of the few millennials leading the charge when it comes to being consciously chic. “Style plus sustainability, without sacrifice, is my motto and how I’ve curated the content for my site, FashionMeGreen.com,” said Eagan.
It was this level of considered living that drew us to Greta as we approached her to be a CIRCCELL ambassador. While studying at the London College of Fashion, she started her blog to showcase eco fashion and non-toxic beauty products. Seven years later, she is the published author of Wear No Evil: How to Change the World with Your Wardrobe, and has worked with brands like Glamour, Kate Spade, Eileen Fisher and The Outnet.
A seasoned production professional, Greta arrived with a large travel case of makeup the day of our shoot. “I’m a bit of a beauty junkie,” she professed. She did her own makeup and styling, while sipping on a La Croix and tapping her foot to tunes blasting from her iPhone. For our video with Greta, we wanted to share a peek into the life of a fashion editor—complete with coordinating a creative team, finding inspiration, and creating lust-worthy content. With her calm and yet upbeat energy, coupled with her love for the creative process, it’s easy to see how Greta thrives in her role.
